Your response to the enclosed survey is very important. We need to know what YOU think!
The City of Manhattan recently adopted the Move MHK! Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan. During previous surveys and stakeholder engagement sessions, the community expressed strong interest in indoor aquatics and a desire for the City to collaborate with partners such as USD 383 and Riley County.
- This survey is divided into two main sections:
- Indoor aquatic facility feedback – gauging community preferences regarding funding, operation, and preferred location of a potential new facility.
- Conceptual improvements at CiCo Park – exploring a larger collaborative project between the City, USD 383, and Riley County beyond the existing ballfields and tennis courts.
We appreciate your time.
We realize this survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, but each question is important. Your input will help the City make resident-driven decisions that shape the future of our community and enhance recreational opportunities for all residents.
Unlike prior surveys, which focused on general preferences for indoor aquatics, this survey specifically addresses support for funding a new indoor aquatic facility and community interest in a larger collaborative project at CiCo Park.
Please complete your survey within the next two weeks.
We have selected ETC Institute, an independent consulting company, as our partner to administer this survey. They will compile the data received and present the results to the City in early winter. Your responses will remain confidential.
If you have any questions about the proposed indoor aquatics and/or CiCo Master Plan project, please feel free to contact Aaron Stewart.
